Researcher support services

TUT library offers support for different stages of research. In this guide you can find information for example on how to

  • make the most out of scientific databases as the source material for your research
  • choose the best publishing channel for you and how to reach out to readers
  • improve your visibility as a researcher
  • check your own publication and reference information in international databases

This guide also tells about author identifiers that help identify researchers (such as ORCID, ResearcherID) and how publication activity and publications can be analyzed with bibliometric indicators. In the library website you can find our other services (such as remote access, materials request) and contact information.

Open science and research at TUT

TUT promotes open science and research in many ways in both publication activities and managing research data. The goal is to improve the visibility and accessibility of scientific research.
